Gallery Mahogany Hunt Console

Mahogany Hunt Console

$375.00

This beautiful Hunt Console is just the right size for any space. Use it in a hallway or use it in a small dining room. It can serve as a bar, a coffee center or as it was originally designed as a small refreshment server.

When folks would arrive back home after the hunt, they were hungry! They would find their refreshments at the Hunt Console, often situated in an entry hall or library.

The top is natural dark aged mahogany with a satin finish of all natural products including oils and shellac. This top is not stained, but is exactly as the wood presents in all its beauty. The casing is painted in a shade of greys, the legs are natural wood with a black stretcher bar. The age is approximately 100 years old or more and post-Victorian.

Measurements are 38 “ wide, 30 “ tall, 18 “ deep.

Note this little treasure has a past. Although not a sordid one, its age is reflected in its unique way and therefore, minor imperfections are notable (see photos for more depth and description of these).
